Rule of Three (click for larger image)The award winning indie horror flick “>Rule of Three (review) is getting some well deserved recognition worldwide and has been picked up to be broadcast overseas on Hart D. Fisher’s “American Horrors” program.
The movie, a psychological shocker about sexual compulsives and predators, accumulated critical praise during its 2008 festival run, winning awards at Shriekfest and Fantasia.

The TV show “American Horrors” is devoted to the ambitious cause of covering the horror genre in the United States through original programming and reporting, along with feature and short films.

“Hart Fisher’s sensibility is a great match for our film. When I was in high school, I followed Fisher in the media, defending his Jeffrey Dahmer comics against the censorship sheep. It’s thrilling to have made a movie that’s now part of his brand,” says director Eric Shapiro.

Rule of Three is circling U.S. theatrical, DVD, and pay-per-view distribution with a Los Angeles company but to date has yet to formalize the deal. In the interim the film’s producers are currently busy readying a screenplay adaptation of Jack Ketchum’s novel Right To Life.
