New King This November

King's got a new collection; Just Past SunsetI can’t think of anything that’s been floating around in my head for 25 years, outside of various explicit fantasies that I’m sure you don’t want to read about here, so it’s pretty impressive to me when someone, even someone like Stephen King, is able to take something he’s had in his brain pan for so long and actually get it on paper

Said idea is Under the Dome, a concept King said he’s been playing with for 25 year now, originally seeing life as a story called The Cannibals. Sort of. You can read the history of Under the Dome on the best site for all things King, Lilja’s Library, the very same site who just got word that Simon & Schuster will have Under the Dome on bookshelves in November of this year.

So what is it about? Not much is known yet, but back in June King posted on his official site that Under the Dome “concerns itself with how people behave when they are cut off from the society they’ve always belonged to.” Other than that we know that it’s going to be a big one, likely well over 1000 pages, but hopefully worth every one of ‘em!

As soon as we hear more, so will you!
