Nature Run Amok
International Ruins
I know you’re probably sick of seeing posters for The Ruins a full month before its release. We’ve already shown you three of ‘em to date, but I can’t help it; they’re all pretty cool so when a new one shows up, we have to mention it. Case in point: IMP Awards Just got a look at the international Ruins poster, which you can see below, so now we're showing you. That's called sharing.
Lynch Ready to Cross The Bridge?
With Animals on the way already (the trailer's in Video Dread), we could only hope for some more Skipp & Spector adaptations to be in the works as well. But could we be lucky enough to get one that the one and only Joe Lynch would direct?

Another Ruins Poster
Hey look! Another poster for Carter Smith’s The Ruins! This one comes from the good old boys at the IMP Awards and, as you can tell, it’s a slight variation on one of the previous posters (this time the girl is screaming). I gotta say I like this one best so far ... now we just have to hope the movie's good! The Ruins opens everywhere on April 4th!
Last Winter DVD Date(s)!
Ever since I got to see an early screening copy of Larry Fessenden’s eco-horror masterpiece The Last Winter (review), I’ve been dying to find out when the film will finally hit DVD, considering its theatrical run was limited at best. Today I found out and thought I’d share it with you guys! See how much we care?

Red Band Ruins
In case you guys missed it, the official site for Carter Smith’s adaptation of Scott Smith’s The Ruins (book review) has been updated with a brand-spanking new “red band” trailer, which means you gotta be 17 to see it. Cause you know how immature those 16 year olds are ...

UPDATE! First Ruins Poster
It’s small, but effective. How many times have you had to explain that in your life? Personally I never have (ahem), but this time I will because I’m talking about the poster for Carter Smith’s The Ruins.
Aja's Piranha Goes 3D?
This may seem a little confusing at first, but try to stay with me here. Koa Films is making a Piranha flick and Alexandre Aja is remaking the original Piranha (“New Piranha, Demons Remake!” – April 2007), OK? Two installments of the same film franchise were in the works, but Koa's was to be in 3D. Easy enough to follow, right?

Bait for the Shark Swarm
Coming just a few weeks after we showed you the Shark Swarm poster ("Shark Swarm Poster, Full Synopsis!" - November 2007), RHI Films has now updated their official website with 105 pictures from the fish flick. The pics are small and heavily watermarked, but something is better than nothing.
