We haven't reported on Breaking the Girl for a while now, but the film is finished and the troubled waters are now calm. In terms of casting the flick has been a bit of a revolving door. Read on to play catch-up with us!
I'm still pissed that we haven't see Jennifer Lynch's Hisss. And while I've given up hope on seeing that film, the promise of another horrific venture from the director goes a long way toward lessening the initial blow. The only caveat? It's looking like our EU friends may be seeing it before anyone in the states.
Twisting and turning, the original cast in now burning for Breaking the Girl. Well, there could be worse songs to get drilled into your head for the rest of the day, but at the very least The Red Hot Chili Peppers are funky!
The new drama/thriller The Cry of the Owl is now available on DVD, and even though it's not exactly a horror movie in the truest sense as we hoped, we figured that we would give it away anyway! After all ... who doesn't like free stuff?!?
Jamie Thraves' The Cry of the Owl hits DVD next Tuesday, June 8th, and to celebrate the flick's home video release, we have three clips for you to sink your claws into.
We first heard about Jamie Thraves' The Cry of the Owl during last November's AFM, but then things were rather silent. Now comes word that Paramount Home Entertainment will be releasing the film onto DVD this June 8th.
More news out of AFM. (How dare it be this busy after the hellish month of October, by the way? Sorry. Just venting.) This time it concerns psychological thriller Cry of the Owl.
Fans of the television show "Glee" will have lots to smile about as star Cory Monteith and his smirk have just signed on for a role in Jamie Babbit’s thriller Breaking The Girl for Myriad Pictures.
Myriad Pictures has announced that Amanda Crew and Adrianne Palicki (pictured) are set to co-star in Jamie Babbit’s upcoming thriller Breaking The Girl. Production is scheduled to start in Canada in 2010.
For my money, anything that Bret Easton Ellis (author of American Psycho) does is worth taking note of. So, it’s especially cool to hear the author has written an as of yet untitled script that genre fans might find interesting.
Myraid Pictures released the trailer today for their latest fright-fest, Not Forgotten, and as always we got our grubby paws on it so that you may dig!
I've been saying for years now that we need more monster movies! It seems people are listening, too! YAY! Anyway, enough soapboxing. Myriad Pictures has released the teaser art for the upcoming creature feature Hybrid, and you know we wouldn't let the day go by without offering you a look!
Studio 407 and Myriad Pictures already have their next planned collaboration while development on Hybrid continues: The Night Projectionist, according to
Variety.
Though it’s been relatively quiet from the
Studio 407 team as of late, that doesn’t mean nothing’s been going on. The comic company continues to develop its titles into flms through their partnership with Myriad Pictures, the first of which being the creature feature Hybrid. Today they named Cube: Zero helmer Ernie Barbarash as the director of Hybrid; a very good sign that things are moving along.
