Mutants
One indie film we've had our eyes on for a while is finally getting ready to make its home video debut, and we've got the goods on what to expect when Wisconsin Project X makes its way to your house.
David Morlet's French horror flick Mutants has finally secured a domestic DVD release and we've got the artwork to help you properly identify and fend off this latest round of French flesh-eaters!
Check out your first look at the cover art below along with a trailer, and stay tuned for an official release date (Amazon says October 26th) and DVD specs as soon as they come.
Official Synopsis:
For my money we just don't get enough movies about killer mutant pig people. That will change in August when E1 Entertainment releases Squeal, the terrifying tale of pig-nosed mutants with mutton chops tormenting members of a broken down rock band. Who doesn't love killer mutant pig people movies?
Now that IFC is all set to release David Morlet's French horror flick Mutants on Direct OnDemand February 10th, we have gotten ahold of their new trailer for the flick, and it is indeed a tasty one at that.
According to the official IFC website David Morlet's French horror flick Mutants will be premiering on Direct OnDemand February 10th. Now you, too, can judge for yourselves whether or not it's worth your time.
Quick! Of all the directors best equipped to take the reins on a remake of David Cronenberg’s The Brood, which one comes to your mind? If you said anyone other than the director of Sahara, you’re dead wrong.
It's a Foy-a-palooza this week with several releases that have his name all over them like Beast Within, Mutants (not the French film of the same name), Night Watcher, and Sand Serpents. Mixed in with those are the more promising sounding Dark Mirror and a four-pack of Hitchcock classics that includes Suspicion, Strangers on a Train, The Wrong Man, and I Confess.

Not to be confused with a new French genre film of the same name. That one might actually be worth watching.
And it also lacks a few other things too ... like good artwork and, according to our Albino Farm review, Albinos! What a world. WHAT A WORLD!
