They’re making a Dungeons & Dragons movie? Another one? Cool. Coming to us from the Twitter account of the Forgotten Realms Wiki, we have a picture of Rodriguez in her full warrior outfit. Never mind the scooter, I’m sure that’s just her way of getting to and from set. These pics were taken in Ireland, where the film is currently filming.
So we see some knuckledusters going on there. That’s very cool. We don’t know much about the Dungeons & Dragons movie. It’s not the rumored reboot of the 80’s animated series. We know that much. It’s to be an original story based around the lore of the role-playing game. We’re hurting for some fantasy movies. It’s been far too long since we’ve been to a Middle Earth or another fantasy setting.

Granted, the previous Dungeons & Dragons films weren’t so great. Also, they were sci-fi originals and truly lived up to that title. The new film stars Chris Pratt, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-Jean Page, Justice Smith, and Hugh Grant. I wish I had a synopsis for this one but I don’t have one. Filming has been severely secretive. Currently filming in Ireland, Dungeons and Dragons is utilizing privacy screens, or shooting in the castle they’ve rented. The only real looks we’ve gotten are from actors traveling between sets. The will release in March of 2023.
