Mezco Toyz
We are full swing into Toy Fair time now with the festivities under way in the UK this week. We caught up with Mezco for a peek at their creepy plastics for 2012 and got an eyeful of Living Dead Dolls art! On tap we have...
Who doesn't love playing with the dead? Sure, they can be a little stiff, but if you keep those limbs moving, you should be pretty okay. As for the smell? Well, there's not much that can be done in that department. Small price to pay for all that macabre fun though, dontcha think?
From the Press Release:
Living as close to Mexico as we do, next to Halloween, many Dread Central staffers' favorite holiday is the Day of the Dead (or El Día de los Muertos) so you can bet we'll be first in line to order the super badass Living Dead Dolls Series 20, which is based around the festivities.
Nomad has picked up some more goods for you to dig on, this time coming out of The Wolfman's camp! What better way is there to celebrate the resurgence of everyone's favorite furry night creature?
And the Toy Fair goodies keep rolling in, this time taking us to Texas for a little plastic inspired barbecue with one of our dearest cannibalistic inbred cousins -- the one and only Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and for the first time ever Leatherface from Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III!
Toy Fair is in full swing, and we'll be bringing you all the horror in plastic goods from the show floor for the next few days. And who better to kick things off with other than Michael Myers, or should we say Rob Zombie's vision of Michael Myers?
With record snowfall to keep him locked inside with his toys and a new The Wolfman opening in theatres today, of course Nomad turned to his blog to celebrate werewolves by taking a look back at some of the best werewolf figures of the past several years.
Nomad's
Idle Hands Blog jogs the memory banks with mentions of these furry friends in their non furry format:
Join the Living Dead Dolls as they journey down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. Fans have eagerly been awaiting info on the release of the Cheshire Cat, and now the wait is over!
Although the figures are still in a pre-order status only, many retailers have already sold out of their allotment of Living Dead Dolls in Wonderland from Mezco Toyz. But you can still be a part of the fun as Mezco has announced that for the first time ever, they are venturing into the world of books for the LDD line.
Mezco continues hitting it out of the park via its Living Dead Dolls line with two new products ready to be released in late spring/early summer 2010: a Beetlejuice doll and the Series 19 Vampire set.
As always seems to be the case, if you want spoilers on the hottest movies today, you need to have your eyes on the world of plastic!
Some Canadian zombies are coming, and they want you to volunteer. No, not to be eaten, but to participate in their Halloween Walk. Actually, being zombies, it is technically more of a “shuffle”, but the concept is the same. And Mezco Toyz will be helping to support the Zombie Walk by supplying goodie bags to 150 participants and, for a limited time, giving a 10% discount on all orders that enter a special code.
Mezco's back with two new Mez-Itz that no self-respecting horror collectibles fan can be without: The Wolfman and a new original Zombie!
We’ve just finished uploading all of our Mezco images to the massive
San Diego Comic-Con gallery (OVER 800 PICS IN THERE!!), so we thought it would be a good time to catch up with Damien Glonek and find out what horrors they’ll be dishing out in the near future.
Got your San Diego Comic-Con tickets and making a shopping list and game plan? One place you do not want to miss is Booth #4145, home of Mezco Toyz!
