We already knew Warner Bros. has been searching for a director to help them bring The Twilight Zone back to the big screen, and today word has come down that they've made their choice: Let Me In and Cloverfield director Matt Reeves.

As we told you yesterday, there are four new Frankenstein films on the way from Ghost House Pictures, Summit, Universal, and Columbia. Now it looks like Summit is pulling ahead of the pack as it's just signed both a writer and a director for its adaptation of Kenneth Oppel's novel This Dark Endeavor: The Apprenticeship of Victor Frankenstein.

Matt Reeves is a director who knows a thing or two about making good vampire movies, as proved by his way better than expected take on Let Me In. Given this fact, it's no wonder he's been tapped to illustrate yet another tale of these fiendish bloodsuckers.

So the question beckons ... if two different movies are based upon the same short story, does that make the latest telling of said story a remake or another beast entirely? Kind of makes your head hurt, no?

Ever since the success of Cloverfield fans have been hoping and praying for a sequel. Thus far we've seen fan-made viral videos, hoped that Super 8 was actually the return of the beast, and have heard tons of chatter but nothing concrete. Will we ever see Clovie again? The answer is YES.
