Paramount has snagged The Batman co-writer Mattson Tomlin’s original spec script 2084. Plot details are scarce, but the project is described as being a spiritual sister to George Orwell’s 1984 with a tone similar to Christopher Nolan’s Inception and the Keanu Reeves’ The Matrix.
