Searchlight and Adam McKay’s upcoming psychological thriller The Menu has snagged its director in the form of Mark Mylod (Game of Thrones, Succession).
Set in the world of eccentric culinary culture, it follows a couple who visit an exclusive restaurant on a remote island where an acclaimed chef has prepared a lavish menu… which we can only assume will consist of at least 55% human meats.

McKay will produce with Betsy Koch. DanTram Nguyen and Zahra Phillips will oversee for Searchlight. Will Tracy (Succession) and Seth Reiss penned the script.
Zombieland and Birdman actress Emma Stone was previously in talks to star in the psychological thriller with Alexander Payne (Sideways, Nebraska) directing.
