More artwork is coming in for the latest 45-minute experimental short film from Repo! creators Darren Bousman and Terrance Zdunich, The Devil's Carnival, and we have it for you right here along with some official casting news and clarification.

The first thought that came to mind upon arriving to director Buddy Giovinazzo’s then-shooting supernatural horror flick Ginger on Sunday, December 18 of 2011 was, “This looks like some place Charles Manson would have frequented back in the Sixties.” As I was to find, I was correct in that assumption, and as it turned out, Giovinazzo himself, too, was working hard to add yet another creepy chapter to the location’s storied past alongside Ginger stars Marc Senter and Elissa Dowling.

Word of The Theatre Bizarre alumnus Buddy Giovinazzo's new flick has finally hit this crazy thing we lovingly call the interwebs, and we have the details for you on tap and ready to be poured into your horror-loving cerebellum.

Dread recently met with Brit director Simon Rumley as well as actor/producer Marc Senter and just-returned-from-Shanghai VP of Phoenix Films Edward McGurn. We engaged in a rather lengthy conversation, riffing on subjects ranging from Rumley’s hard-as-nails flick Red, White & Blue to his involvement with the upcoming horror anthology The ABCs of Death.

Following sold-out screenings of Simon Rumley's Red, White & Blue (review here) at Fantastic Fest, IFC Midnight is bringing the film to several additional cities over the next few weeks. Zach Passero, director of the 2008 Fever Dreams/Media Blasters feature Wicked Lake, has given Dread Central the skinny on the release plans for his director's cut of that feature. Hitting Blu-Ray on June 29, 2010, the disc will contain the original cut with the director's cut (titled Wicked, Wicked Lake) as a bonus that will feature an introduction by the filmmaker.
