Ask any fan of the Silent Hill video game franchise what one of the single most important aspects of the experience is, and we can pretty much guarantee you that the score makes everyone's top 5 mentions. It really does play a key part in enjoying all that the spooky town has to offer, and now news has come detailing who will be handling the music for the next adaptation of the foggy property!

While we all wait patiently for the spookiness of Silent Hill: Revelation to come our way, one of the flick's stars, Carrie-Anne Moss, who plays the nefarious Claudia Wolf in the sequel, took a bit of time to wax on about her on-set experiences.

Some pretty neat news coming out of the Toronto Film Festival pertaining to the Amy Heckerling horror comedy Vamps! The flick has scored a gaggle of foreign distro, and with any luck before the weekend's up we'll have some domestic news as well.

We spend week after week going to the movies. Sometimes we score and end up having a good time, but mostly we're just subjected to bloated Hollywood bullshit. Then it happens we see a trailer for a short film and can't help but think, "Wow. A feature version of this would be so badass." Musician Jesse Dayton may be best known to genre fans as “Captain Clegg,” the front man to the psychobilly band seen in Rob Zombie’s Halloween II, as he not only performed under the moniker in the film but also was the opening act on Zombie’s music tour that kicked off later that year as well.

For the most part, I really dig Silent Hill. Kind of goes without saying that it's the best video game adaptation out there, but it's also a pretty good movie. The further we got away from it, it seemed less likely that we would ever see a sequel so I'm pretty happy to report on every piece of Silent Hill 2 news out there. I'm just glad to know it's on the way.
