Magnet Releasing Bringing Beyond the Black Rainbow to the US

You can't say we didn't warn you there'd be some more distribution news coming out of the Cannes Film Festival. The latest tidbit is that Magnet Releasing (the genre arm of Magnolia Pictures) has picked up US rights and Mongrel Media has acquired Canada from XYZ Pictures to Panos Cosmatos’ sci-fi thriller Beyond the Black Rainbow.

26 Horror Directors Teaming Up for The ABCs of Death Anthology

Here at Dread Central we love anthologies, and this bit of news that just came across the wire sounds like we are in for the anthology to end all anthologies as Drafthouse Films, Timpson Films, and Magnet Releasing are teaming to produce The ABCs of Death, a 26-chapter film that 25 established horror directors -- plus a contest winner -- will direct.
