She Rises to Have US Premiere at Macabre Faire Film Fest

Blanc-Biehn Productions (BBP), the independent film studio founded by actors/filmmakers Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn, has announced the Official Selection – and Stateside premiere – of She Rises at the 2017 Macabre Faire Film Festival, running January 13-15 in Long Island, New York.
The twisted thriller also received five Macabre Faire Film Awards nominations, including Best Cinematography in a Feature (Steve Romano), Best Actor in a Feature (Angus Macfadyen), Best Screenplay in a Feature (Macfadyen), Best Actress in a Feature (Daisy McCrackin), and Best Supporting Actress (Blanc-Biehn).
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Larry Wade Carrell (Jacob), She Rises takes a creepy road trip with a film director (Blanc-Biehn) and her leading man (Macfadyen) to their rural set location, a quaint country inn run by an odd, seemingly shy young woman (McCrackin).
It’s screening on Saturday, January 14th, at 3:00 pm.
She Rises was also an official selection at the Irish Film Institute’s Horrorthon Film Festival, held last fall in Dublin, where it made its world premiere; and a special screening at the event proved to be enormously successful.
The Macabre Faire Film Festival will be held at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, 3845 Veterans Memorial Hwy, ​Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. Tickets are now available at the Festival’s website.
