The first details on Juan Carlos Medina's Insensibles (aka Painless) have come to light, and now that Roxbury Pictures has come on board and nearly all the financing pieces are in place, the film is on track for a first quarter 2011 shoot.
Remember when Kevin Coster was considered by Hollywood to be a huge box office draw? No? Well it's true. And even if Costner's star appeal is on the decline, I'm still surprised to hear his new thriller, The New Daughter, is getting an extremely limited release. Tomorrow.
It is said that, back in the days before photography was a mainstay of the world at large, early practitioners of the art attempted to use a form of it to capture human souls. Of course, the only time the soul could be captured was when it was leaving its host body, and the only way that could happen is death, so said practitioners were not what one would call well regarded.
I don’t know what it is, but for some reason the more I hear about Luis Berdejo’s The New Daughter, the more anxious I am to see it. Normally a supernatural movie with Kevin Coster would do nothing for me at all, but this one just keeps showing promise.
