All good things must end, of course.

And today we come to the end of Julia Starchild.

The final film in this remarkable series, released in 1985, was a passion project that brought the entire series to a sort of nexus, as her greatest fan and her long-time director converged, all under the banner of notorious Hollywood sleaze merchants Golan and Globus.  As we approach the zenith of Julia’s story, it’s time now for a closer look at the lady herself and the secret shame of being beautiful, as she struggled with the demons of her life and a dark secret which she kept to her grave.  Click Julia’s name below the read the final chapter. This is Chapter 5, so you might want to review the series if you’re just now joining us.

Those of you who have been keeping up with this series know these films are not real.  But in the world of SHOCK FESTIVAL they are.  And, as you also know, what I’ve been talking about here extends far beyond the movie screen.  The story of Julia Starchild asks some very important loaded questions about life, death and humanity in general.  I hope pondering some of that has been illuminating and interesting and fun for you.  As I’ve said many times before, one can find inspiration in the damnedest places.

As you can see in the POSTER BELOW, this was not only Julia’s final film, but the only film in the series in which the character was played by a different actress.  There’s a good reason for that.  Come and discover it.  Remember, a story never ends.  It just passes from place to place.

I’ll be back next week for the wrap up.

Peace in the galaxy!
