We received the final poster art for David Hackl's Saw V, and it boasts that we'll "never believe how it ends." But ... isn't there already a sixth Saw film in the works? Do they mean how this trap ends or how this chapter ends?
The fourth sequel in the Saw franchise follows the path of destruction the new Jigsaw creates as he attempts to keep his identity a secret. Torture, flashbacks, and hopefully more pig masks await us in theatres on October 24th.

Lionsgate
Barker Responds to Meat Train Release
It’s been awfully quiet from the Clive Barker camp on Lionsgate’s decision to put Midnight Meat Train (review), the first of many planned adaptations of Barker’s Books of Blood stories, into second-run dollar theaters instead of giving it a real theatrical release.

Ha-ha, vindication! I demanded more Blood Drive posters from Lionsgate this year, and they cowered at my might, churning out not just another poster, but a badass poster to boot! You mess with the Butane, you get the horns, friends!

Repo! Site Gets a Facelift!
Just last week we heard that Repo! The Genetic Opera (review) was going to start some kind of continuing webisodes of behind the scenes videos. This week saw the first, and with that the flood gates started to open.

New Saw V Blood Drive Art
Man, Lionsgate better not be cheapening out on us this year and only doing one design for their annual Saw Blood Drive. Yahoo! Movies got a look at the first poster for the drive, which I sincerely hope is not the last. One thing I look forward to every year is what kind of sexy nurses in sexy outfits they’re using to promote giving until it hurts.

Rally to Support The Midnight Meat Train
General society has a tendency to judge the horror community unfairly. Sure, some of us look a little different or, hell, even act a little differently, but in all honesty this small sect is comprised of some of the most loving and passionate individuals that I have had the pleasure of meeting. When we suffer a tragedy or are dealt an injustice, we rally around each other.

Saw Video Game Posters & Jigsaw Fights AIDS!
How do you make a video game out of the Saw franchise? Would it be a series of mini-games where someone must disarm traps in order to save others/themselves? Could it be a detective game, like Condemnded, where you must piece together clues in order to track down Jigsaw? Word on the street says this last one may be the most likely.
