Two New Stills from Daybreakers
With The Twilight Saga: New Moon opening this weekend, we thought it a good idea to remind everyone that a vampire tale with a bit more "bite" is heading to theatres early next year. And what better way to do that than with two new stills?!

Daybreakers TV Spot Debuts Online
It's really hard to believe the new year is just around the corner though I'll be the first to admit I cannot wait to see 2009 out of here already. With the theatrical debut of Daybreakers coming in January, at least 2010 will be starting off with some bite.

Make a Date with Saw VII in 3D
I almost feel bad for Saw VI. The flick delivered on all counts; yet, it performed really badly at the box office. We can only hazard a guess that the damage done by the abysmal Part V left audiences so cold that the new film was something they weren't going to bank on this year. David Hackl, director of Part V, now has a date for redemption with his new flick Saw VII 3D.

James Marsh to Record The Vatican Tapes
Looking to further expand upon the possession craze that has begun sweeping the horror community as of late, Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment have partnered to get the ball rolling on the next bit of the devil made them do it mayhem.

Blood Creek Coming Home
Well, we knew it wouldn't be long before this flick hit home video! Arriving on DVD January 19 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is Joel Schumacher's long-delayed and recently dumped into theatres, Blood Creek (review here).

Cabin Fever 2's Noah Segan Speaks
Dread Central hit the Los Angeles premiere of Ti West’s Cabin Fever 2 last week at Screamfest LA, and chatted with the film’s star Noah Segan, who riffed on the evolution of horror cinema, his thoughts on the controversy regarding the re-cut Cabin Fever 2 and his approach to his role in the Marcel Sarmiento/Gadi Harel co-directed Deadgirl.

Dafoe Takes Aim in New Daybreakers Images
Finally a vampire film with teeth is getting some play instead of the bushy-eyebrowed tweener properties that have been getting all the love. A couple of new stills from Lionsgate's latest vampire opus Daybreakers have made their way online, and we have the goods for ya!

UPDATED: Weekend Box Office: Saw VI Falls Victim to Paranormal Activity; Paramount Hints at PA2
While it's true that in most cases people root for the underdog, it's still a bit hard to believe how dramatically Paranormal Activity toppled reigning October box office champ Saw's sixth installment. But numbers don't lie, and although Saw VI is considered by many (including yours truly) to be the best entry in the series in quite some time, it still wasn't enough to stop the little juggernaut that could, Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity.

Saw VI Contest II: Win a Prop and Signed Photo of Costas Mandylor
The early buzz on Saw VI (review here) is that it's one of the better entries in the series so this latest contest opportunity ought to be of interest to those of you who concur with that assessment. Along with a signed picture of Costas Mandylor as Det. Hoffman, you can also win a certified special and valuable item that was used in the film.

Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever One-Sheet
The story of Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever is a strange one indeed. According to director Ti West Lionsgate seized control of the sequel and recut the film without his approval. West was going for a John Waters feel or Todd Solondz style (which I assume means lots of perverse sex and disgusting bodily fluids), but the studio had other ideas.
