Another pair of images have surfaced from the upcoming epic known as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and between this and Godzilla, we may all die and go to geek heaven. Check 'em out!
It's Hump Day, and if this Dawn of the Planet of the Apes image gallery doesn't make your geek boner throb, then you may wanna consult a physician. Give. Us. This. Now. Please. Thanks.
On tap for you today is a brand new poster for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which perfectly sums up the title characters; they may be cute, but that doesn't mean they're not terrifying when they're really, really pissed off. Dig it!
Airing during the Season 4 finale of "The Walking Dead" was a brand new TV spot for Fox's upcoming blockbuster, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and we have it for you right here. Dig it!
We're just a few months away from the release of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which means that a whole lot of goodies will soon be coming our way to gear us up for the epic simian smackdown. Speaking of which, we've got one of those goodies for ya today so read on!
They're finally here! Just in time for Toy Fair 2014, we have your first look at the official LEGO Ghostbusters set, and it is pretty friggin' amazing. Thank Zuul for the riches he hath bestowed upon us!
It's amazing to me how much the LEGO brand has been woven into our society's pop culture. Video games, cartoons, movies, parodies... it's like some sort of mad infection! The next property to be down with the sickness? Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Check out this fan-made redux of the trailer.
Back in 2011, LEGO launched a pretty awesome project called LEGO CUUSOO, which gives fans the opportunity to design their very own LEGO sets. How it works is that once any given mock-up receives a certain number of votes, LEGO will consider making the concepts a reality. Pretty cool, right?
Sometimes we catch stuff online that leaves us sitting here scratching our heads and wondering, "How did it take so damned long for someone to think of this?" You want cool? You've got cool as LEGOs may not be just for kids anymore!
You know, we've seen some cool things come out from the LEGO company over the years, but this really takes the cake. As a matter of fact, it's skyrocketed to the top of our most wanted list if only because of its kitsch value and sheer coolness.
It's pretty amazing how Lego has gone from a connectible block set to a marketing phenomenon complete with video games, etc. Now we take a much closer look at their line of Monster Hunters. Dig it!
I'm always amazed at how casually monsters and horror have worked their way into media seemingly made for "kids". The Pirates of the Caribbean films (from Walt Disney) have had zombies, fish monsters AND unkillable skeleton pirates. Hell, those lovable Ewoks from Star Wars set out to EAT our heroes when they first met. Never forget what the "Luka Luka Luuuuka" song really means.
