IT'S TOY FAIR TIME! Well, not really, but we are starting now anyway because we're rebels. When we last heard about NECA taking on Left 4 Dead action figures, it was during San Diego Comic-Con, and we'd seen nothing more than some art on a teaser card. Now NECA gives us an excellent look at their first figure...the Deluxe Boomer!

We've been sitting on this one for a couple of weeks because it's the perfect way to send out 2011. A fan film based upon Valve's video game franchise Left 4 Dead (reviews here) that is nothing short of badass. This is the perfect example of there being young talented filmmakers out there who know how to do a lot with a little, and we completely applaud them.

Check it out, PC and 360 darlings. Valve is not quite done with the Left 4 Dead franchise and neither should you be as Valve unleashes a Left 4 Dead comic book promotion for their upcoming expansion pack.

If there is one man who created an entire subgenre for horror fans, it is the legendary George A. Romero. Once his zombies started shambling onto the screen, all the rules of the living dead changed.

This weekend if you're a gamer, you have no excuse to not be on your Xbox 360 playing the new DLC for Left 4 Dead 2, "The Passing". Need more incentive? A new promo just hit online that should more than whet your soon to be bloodied whistle -- or at the very least tickle your funny bone!

Oh my gah, you guys ... the much anticipated Left 4 Dead 2 DLC, "The Passing", will FINALLY be available for Xbox 360 and PC starting Thursday, April 22. AHHHH!!!!!!

After years of pissing and moaning (mostly from me), today Valve announced it will FINALLY bring gaming engines Steam and Source to the Mac, and the BEST news of all? Steam and Valve's library of games including Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series will be available in April.

Anyone who reads this site knows that we are huge fans of the video game franchise Left 4 Dead (reviews here). The games just perfectly capture what we love about zombie movies ... horror, gore, political messages, oh, and more gore.

Zoey, Francis, Bill, and Louis are about to meet up with Coach, Ellis, Nick, and Rochelle by way of an all-new meaty bit of downloadable content for Left 4 Dead 2 coming next spring for the Xbox 360 and PC. As if you needed another reason to buy and play this incredible game!

Two Million. That's how many copies of Valve's Left 4 Dead 2 have been sold since the game's release just two weeks ago. Can you imagine collectively how many zombies have been slain? Staggering!

What with Left 4 Dead 2 now on store shelves and taking up the majority of our free time, have you ever wondered what this maniacal game would have looked like if it had been for the original Nintendo Entertainment System?

Valve Software announced yesterday that a new DLC pack for the original Left 4 Dead is due in September. ‘Crash Course’ is a new chapter to the game, set between the original ‘No Mercy’ and ‘Death Toll’ campaigns.

Since the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2 fans have been in a bit of an uproar, and understandably so. While amazing, Left 4 Dead is a bit lean in terms of content, and consumers haven't been shy at all letting developer Valve know how they feel.

Fresh out of the Microsoft E3 press conference comes the news that last years best horror game is going to get a sequel THIS year. A short trailer shown revealed a New Orleans setting, and our new cast of survivors will be grabbing pots, pans, and yes, power tools, to help them in their escape from presumably the same zombie crisis we saw last year.
