The world of plastic gets a swift kick in the ass three times a year. One is at Toy Fair, one is during the holiday season, and the big daddy of them all is at San Diego Comic-Con! Bif Bang Pow has already shown us a small army of bobble-headed freaks marching to the show as we speak, but today they dropped us a line to show off the packaging art for their new “Twilight Zone” Retro Action Figures as well as the newest 7-inch “Dexter” Action Figures! Here’s the skinny…

Dropping this August, 2010 – “Dexter”! Standing 7 inches tall and fully articulated, Dexter comes with interchangeable arms, allowing him to transform from killer to blood-splatter expert and back again. He also includes loads of great accessories: knife, body bag, ID badge, and blood slide! He would love to make your world a safer place so bring him home today! This sculpt is personally approved by Michael C. Hall and Showtime. Click here to pre-order yours from Entertainment Earth!

And, premiering at SDCC, it’s Dexter in his jumpsuit! In order to stay neat and tidy during his “extracurricular activities,” Dexter is dressed in cloth scrubs and cloth apron, and he comes with a handsaw and welder’s mask that features a flip-down visor. Lastly, we’ve got the packaging art for Talky Tina and Willie from “The Twilight Zone” Retro Action Figure line.

Long before Chucky, there was Talky Tina, star of one of the most spine-chilling episodes of “The Twilight Zone: ever aired. In the show titled “Living Doll” that also starred Telly Savalas, Tina kept coming back and coming back, no matter what he did to try to destroy her. If you remember that frightening episode, you may think twice before ordering this item. But don’t worry. After all, she’s only an innocent action figure… or is she? Tina features fabric clothing, multiple points of articulation, and a retro design right out of the 1970s!

Based on the ultra-eerie 1962 “The Twilight Zone” episode titled “The Dummy” that starred Cliff Robertson, this almost-too-real rendering of Willie may make your skin crawl. But no need to feel threatened. He comes in actual fabric clothing and is designed after very popular action figures of the 1970s. Won’t you give Willie a try?

Tina and Willie are SDCC exclusives, but never fear, Entertainment Earth will have some set aside for you to buy from the comfort of your home. Click here to pre-order yours from Entertainment Earth!

You’ll notice upcoming figures teased on the card back include characters from episodes “Eye of the Beholder” (mutant-faced doctor or nurse, I assume), “Time Enough at Last” (Henry Bemis and his broken glasses for sure), “Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up?” (three-eyed shop keep perhaps?), “The Invaders” (fat gold aliens!), and “The Night of the Meek” (drunk Santa Art Carney).

The rest of Bif Bang Pow’s Retro “Twilight Zone” figures, including the Gremlin, Jason Foster, Kanamit, and The Devil, are due out this August.
