Four years in the making, the plan now for Sonny Fernandez’s Lake Villa Vamps is to release it as an episodic, online web series; and Episode 1 is now available in its entirety along with a new trailer! All of the episodes will eventually be released as a full-blown DVD, but for now, you can check out the episodes as they’re put up online.
The series follows a group of bloodthirsty, murderous vampires as they are tasked to save the world from the mighty Brethren, a werewolf empire intent on taking over the world. With voice work from Down Twisted Studios veterans Cody Tergesen, Sam Ova, and Edgardo Osorio and introducing a whole new slew of talent including Matthew Brooks, Andrew Gilliland, Nicole Sachiko Nitta, and Meredith Williams, Lake Villa Vamps attempts to set a new standard for the company as well as bring an entirely new genre to the table.
Episode 1 finds our “heroes” doing what they do best: killing, fighting, and generally causing all kinds of chaos. But something strange is brewing as forces they cannot comprehend start to amass against them.
