Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle as the leader of an evil pagan cult! Tom Savini as a hard-nosed sheriff! Psycho Sid Vicious as an asskicker in a muscle car! Throw in Maniac Cop Robert Z'Dar, a few more pro wrestling stars, and more Druids than an Undertaker ring entrance; and you get the recipe for Bruce Koehler's Death From Above.
Pittsburgh filmmaker Bruce Koelher has been carving a niche for himself with a pair of horror movies starring Olympic gold medalist/ amateur wrestler turned professional wrestler Kurt Angle. The duo behind last year's End Game and next week's River of Darkness are back for thirds with Death From Above.

What do you get when you take three gigantic aging grapplers and couple them with Zombie #1 Bill Hinzman? You get a movie that appears to be so rife with absurdity that we simply cannot wait to watch it! Steady yourself, dear reader, as we present all the DVD details for River of Darkness!
From the Press Release
Okay, so Kurt Angle's last movie End Game (review here) didn't exactly score itself a clean pinfall victory with fans, but the man is at it again in River of Darkness, this time with Kevin Nash, Psycho Sid Vicious, and original Night of the Living Dead zombie Bill Hinzman in tow. Ready for some sales art and a trailer, or should we simply throw a packet of salt in your eyes?
Earlier this month I brought you first word about River of Darkness, a new supernatural thriller starring pro wrestler Kurt Angle as a small town sheriff battling a trio of brothers lynched long ago who are back from the grave looking to settle old scores. The brothers are portrayed by pro wrestlers Kevin Nash, Psycho Sid Vicious, and Bill Laing, the Mothman of The Mothman Prophecies.
Despite his last feature End Game (review here) receiving a critical powerslamming from yours truly, indie filmmaker Bruce Koehler of North Shore Pictures sent word to let me know he actually loved my less-than-stellar review of his serial killer thriller.
The December DVD release of End Game sees the continuation of the grand tradition of casting pro wrestlers and reality television contestants in starring film roles. Olympic gold medal winning amateur wrestler turned professional wrestler Kurt Angle stars as a psycho-sexual serial killer stalking a stripper played by "Survivor: Amazon" winner Jenna Morasca. I can assure you it is every bit as good as it sounds.

Kurt Angle. Olympic gold medal-winning amateur wrestler. World championship-winning professional wrestler. Future award-winning actor? Hey, two out of three ain't bad.
With the release of Bruce Koehler's slasher featuring TNA Superstar Kurt Angle, all sorts of things are popping up, including a new teaser and website for the film, which is entitled End Game.
Kevin Munroe's Dead of Night based upon the Italian comic book Dylan Dog is taking shape really fast down in New Orleans. The film, which tells the tale of a private investigator on the trail of the supernatural, just got a couple of werewolves to round out its menagerie.
Oh, it's true! It's damn true! Someone really made a serial killer movie that has Olympic gold medal winning amateur wrestler turned world champion professional wrestler Kurt Angle as stalking a sexy ex-Survivor contestant and it's title is End Game.
