Definitely the biggest DVD release this week is the After Dark Horrorfest box set with, if not eight films worth dying for, at least a couple that are worth your time; and the fun of the thing is figuring out which ones they are. But that's not all that's coming out March 23rd; read on for the rest.
It's that wonderful time of the year again! As of March 23rd you'll be able to take home either the entire set or just your favorite movies from this year's After Dark Horrorfest 4, and we've put in the hours to find out what is worth your time and what was best left dead and buried. Dig it, baby!

Horrorfest 4 kicks off in exactly two weeks, and no doubt many of you have been wondering if it'll be happening in your home town ... and if not, how far will you have to travel to be a part of it? Well, wonder no more as After Dark Films has released its up-to-date list of cities and locations for the fest.
Finally the trailer for After Dark's final film to die for, Kill Theory, has hit the Net, and it looks like a good and gory time is waiting for us all!
More goodies coming out of the upcoming After Dark Horrorfest 4! This time we've got a still and the official one-sheet for the final film that made the cut for this year's festival -- Kill Theory.
Finally the eighth film for After Dark's Horrorfest 4 has been announced -- Kill Theory, and a new festival trailer has surfaced to get you all geared up!
We first we reported on Kill Theory many, many moons ago, and unfortunately the project is still in limbo over at Lionsgate. Thankfully that hasn't stopped an exclusive clip from appearing online.
Ack, college kids. Celebrating. Maniac killer. What more do you need to know about Kill Theory
to make it sound more uninteresting? Hopefully Chris Moore did something fresh, or at least fun, with his debut, which has been in the wings for months now.
We got word from the Kill Theory crew that the film will be hitting us sometime in September. The finalized release date should be resolved this month, but what we know right now is that Lionsgate is planning on getting the flick into 2,800+ theatres and a trailer for it may be attached to The Ruins.
Though I can’t say it’s number one on our list of most anticipated movies, I will admit to a morbid curiosity regarding Chris Moore’s Kill Theory (formerly Last Resort/Killers). If nothing else it’ll be a chance to stare at Agnes Brucker for 90 minutes again.
Finally, a producer is stepping behind the camera to shoot a movie and see what it’s really like on the other side, especially the part about being yelled at by producers.
Specifically I refer to Chris Moore, the taller producer who would show up from time to time to make John Gulager’s life hellish during “Project Greenlight.” Moore has signed a deal to direct Killers, described as a horror/action movie, with Element, Lift, and Benderspink producing. That’s a lot of producers to do the yelling!
