Our favorite slasher film antagonists have made a name for themselves by slicing through the silver screen. But who is the most prolific? Well, we have the answer for you. We have rounded up the kill counts for some of the most celebrated slasher antagonists right here and we are ranking them based on their proficiency.

Please keep in mind that there is some debate over whether Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers claims the top spot. Different sources provide different numbers. So, here is a link to the list we used as a reference point.
Also know that we narrowed the list to proper slasher icons. So, you won’t see Pinhead, Jigsaw, or anyone that exists in a subgenre outside the slasher space.
#5 Freddy Krueger
Kill Count: 63
Fred Krueger’s kill count takes into account all of the Elm Street films, Freddy vs. Jason, and Freddy’s Nightmares. Though Krueger comes in 5th, I would argue that he puts quality ahead of quantity.
#4 Victor Crowley
Kill Count: 64
Victor Crowley’s kill count is comprised of all of his onscreen kills in the four Hatchet films. That’s more than 15 kills per film. Wow.
#3 Chucky
Kill Count: 67
Chucky’s total body count includes all the Child’s Play films and seasons one and two of Chucky. Not a bad showing for a slasher killer forged from plastic.
#2 Michael Myers
Kill Count: 160
Michael Myers’ kill count includes all of the original franchise installments, both of Rob Zombies reboots, and David Gordon Green’s trilogy. Not to shabby.
Jason Voorhees
Kill Count: 163
Jason Voorhees’ total kill count encompasses all of the Friday the 13th films, plus Freddy vs. Jason. Nice work, sir. You’ve narrowly claimed the top spot.
