Uncover Horrors of the Alaskan Wilderness in The Wild Eight

Announced back in February for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, the isometric survival horror game The Wild Eight follows a group of survivors of a plane crash deep in the Alaskan wilderness, where they are forced to struggle against the unforgiving weather, vicious animals, and other, more mysterious horrors. To me, the scariest thing to ever come out of Alaska was Sarah Palin, but hopefully she won’t be showing up.
A Kickstarter campaign was launched a few days ago to ensure that the game gets finished to the appropriate standards, along with a creepy new pitch video. Check it out below, and learn more at the game’s official website.
Synopsis:
The game tells the story of eight people whose everyday lives are forever changed after a horrific plane crash. They now find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere, deep in the forests of Alaska.
While the survivors await rescue, their lives are threatened by a number of mysterious entities, unseen creatures, and objects that definitely don’t belong in this world. And the deeper you go, the harder it gets to survive…
