Director Ryûhei Kitamura is known for his gritty and bloody films. Just look at his 2008 adaptation of Clive Barker’s Midnight Meat Train or his 2012 film No One Lives. Now, this master of gore is back with a new film The Price We Pay, starring Stephen Dorff and Emile Hirsch. Kitamura goes back to the torture porn roots of the early 2000s to deliver a home-invasion-gone-horribly-wrong experience that’ll have you flinching in its final act. So we’re excited to have an exclusive clip that is just a taste of what the film has in store.

After an intense holdup at a pawnshop, Grace is taken hostage by the thieves. Forced to take refuge at a remote farmhouse late at night, they discover a secret dungeon with evidence of sadistic violence. When “Grandfather” comes home, all hell breaks loose.
