Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of TMNT Movie With Co-Creator Kevin Eastman Watch Party Today!

It has been 30 years since the first live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie hit theaters. And today, co-creator Kevin Eastman wants to watch the first movie with you.

He writes: “Grab yerself some pizza and a drink and fire up whatever version of the TMNT 1990 Movie you have and let’s meet on Monday, March 30th for a party, LIVE on Facebook to Shellebrate the 30th Anniversary of the release of the 1990 TMNT Movie.Let’s have fun together, enjoying things we all love while maintaining good social distancing practices.”

On a side note, Eastman also wrote this earlier this month: “From all of us here at Kevin Eastman Studios to all our Dear Friends around the world… We hope this message finds you and your loved ones as safe as possible during this international crisis – our thoughts and most heartfelt well wishes be with you. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was directed by Steve Barron from a screenplay by Todd W. Langen and Bobby Herbeck based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Simon Fields, David Chan, and Kim Dawson produced . New Line released it on March 30, 1990.

The film sports a 40% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is exactly as advertised: one-liners, brawls, and general silliness. Good for the young at heart, irritating for everyone else.”
