On Sunday, October 10th, Screamfest LA hosted the premiere of sci-fi thriller Altitude, which is being released later this month DTV by Anchor Bay. On hand for the event was director Kaare Andrews, who was not only celebrating the premiere of Altitude but the debut of his first full-length feature as well.

Just a quick follow-up to last week's story - Anchor Bay has officially announced its acquisition of the monster in the sky flick Altitude so we figured we'd do our duty and bring you the word as it has come down.

Really exciting news, folks! One of our most anticipated monster movies has gained itself some distribution, and that means it will not be long before the creature carnage spills off of the screen and into our laps!

There's no question that the upcoming creature feature Altitude looks pretty damned cool as evidenced by the temp trailer from back in November, but today's new stills are a bit on the vanilla side.

One project we've been pretty excited about around here since first learning of it is Altitude starring Jessica Lowndes. Monsters taking down a plane? Hell yes, we are there! Ready for a little temp trailer action?
