‘Trader’ Actor Kimberly-Sue Murray On Playing An Anti-Hero

Trader

Corey Stanton‘s new film Trader is a Safdie-esque nightmare on a much smaller scale. Led solely by Kimberly-Sue Murray in a powerhouse performance, the film propels forward at a neck-breaking pace, all contained within one small dirty basement apartment where Murray’s nameless character manipulates and schemes to get to the very top.

Read the full synopsis:

A manipulative sociopath armed with a dangerously ambitious spirit, her wits, and an affinity for snorting wasabi voyages into the high-intensity game of stock market trading and wages war against the financial world. When she stumbles upon news of a monumental pharmaceutical trade, she risks everything to complete her ultimate success story no matter the cost.

Dread Central spoke with Murray about being the sole actor in a feature, creating a complicated but toxic character, and more.
