We try to bring you all types of unique short films, and Milagres certainly falls into that category. It’s only one minute long but manages to deliver plenty of creepy images and even some gore…check it out.

The film’s writer/director, Claudio Ellovitch, tells us he drew influences for Milagres (the English translation is Miracles) from European horror masters like Mario Bava and Dario Argento as well as psychedelic abstractions like Ken Russell’s Altered States. There is no dialogue in the film, but it does have a single written text that reads “Imagens Sacras – Escultor Cego.” Translation: “Sacred Statues – Blind Sculptor.” Keep that in mind while watching the film.

Scroll down and check out Milagres. What do you have to lose? It’s only a minute long!
