As has become its weekly custom, The CW has released "producer previews" for tonight's episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" (#3.11, "Our Town") and "The Secret Circle (#1.11, "Fire/Ice"). The "TVD" preview is hosted by executive producer Julie Plec and co-executive producer Caroline Dries while the "TSC" preview finds executive producer Andrew Miller outlining some of his characters' desires.
We haven't gotten the official synopsis yet from The CW, but in the 12th episode of this season of "The Vampire Diaries", which airs on January 19th, we're going to be introduced Bonnie's mother, from whom our favorite witchy woman is currently estranged; and we can now share the first look at Abby Bennett, portrayed by Persia White ("Girlfriends").
You just have to love The CW. Say what you will about how good looking its stars are, but week in and week out no one else delivers the horror goods like they do. Case in point: the return on Thursday, January 5th, of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Secret Circle", for which we have some very attractive artwork. And there's a new preview of "TVD" Episode 3.10, "The New Deal" (with a few teases of next week's "Our Town") as well, titled "Human or Stefan?"
Getting geared up for the return of "The Vampire Diaries" this Thursday night, January 5th? We sure are, and this latest preview video featuring executive producer Julie Plec and co-executive producer Caroline Dries showing us how the town will adjust now that Klaus is living in Mystic Falls has only added to the anticipation.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes of "The Vampire Diaries" during its winter hiatus with several news items coming out over the past couple of days. We have a casting update for two of Klaus' brothers; a hint of what's in store for their sister, Rebekah; and a peek at Torrey DeVitto, aka Mrs. Paul Wesley, in character as Dr. Fell.
There's nothing ordinary about the latest turn of events on "The Vampire Diaries". We can't wait for Alaric to unravel the mystery of the drawings Mason revealed while haunting Damon. But first there are flashbacks to be savored as shown in these newest stills released by The CW for Episode 3.08, "Ordinary People", airing November 3rd.
Now that those pesky ghosts have been put back in their places on "The Vampire Diaries", it's time to deal with humans again, or at least that's what one would think judging from the title of Episode 3.08, "Ordinary People". But knowing the show as well as we do, we're pretty sure what we have here is a classic bait and switch. Check out this teaser and clip to see if perhaps they provide better intel on the upcoming ep.
UPDATED: MORE IMAGES ADDED!
We don't know if Episode 3.06 of "The Vampire Diaries", entitled "Smells Like Teen Spirit", will contain a mulatto or an albino, but it definitely has a new hybrid being added into the mix! Check out the ep's preview, a clip, and several stills to see what else might be revealed.
It's the day before a new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" airs, and you know what that means: Executive Producer Julie Plec gives us her personal preview of what we can expect. It's Prank Night in Mystic Falls so buckle up, kids! It's sure to be a rough ride!
You'd be hard pressed to find a single showrunner out in TV land who cares about their fans more than "The Vampire Diaries"'s Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. Case in point: Plec's weekly video introductions to the upcoming TVD episode. Today we have for you a discussion of the many relationships of "The Vampire Diaries" in preparation for Episode 3.04, entitled "Disturbing Behavior".
And the clever episode titles continue for "The Vampire Diaries" as the synopsis has just come out for Episode 3.06 of the series, airing on October 20th - "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Over on its sister show, "The Secret Circle", things don't seem quite as cheerful, however, as Episode 1.06 is called "Wake". Read on for both of the synopses.
Last week's debut pairing of "The Vampire Diaries" with "The Secret Circle" gave The CW some of its best ratings ever, and that trend is likely to continue tomorrow. To help whet everyone's appetites for both shows, the network has released preview videos featuring TVD executive producer Julie Plec introducing "The Hybrid" and TSC co-executive producers Andrew Miller and Kevin Williamson promising you're about to see powers that are raging out of control in "Bound".
Last night saw the return of The CW's most popular show, "The Vampire Diaries" (which was every bit as good as we were hoping), along with the series premiere of "The Secret Circle" (the jury's still out on this one, but it does show promise, especially thanks to the adult characters Ethan and Charles); and as expected, they made a magical pair ratings-wise for the network. Along with the Live Plus Same Day Nielsen info for those of you who like reading that sort of thing, we have preview videos of the second installments of both shows to share - "The Hybrid" for "TVD" and "Bound" for "TSC".
“ The Vampire Diaries” had a large fanbase even before the TV show started, and you can only imagine how much bigger that has grown now. Of course, when there are fans, there will be fan art by the talented set. But before viewing the art, we have a new First Look interview with Candice Accola about her character, Caroline.
Have you checked out our "The Vampire Diaries" CENTRAL, which we posted earlier today, and still crave more info on what the Season 3 premiere episode has in store for fans? Then you won't want to miss this special sneak peek preview of "The Birthday" hosted by co-executive producer Julie Plec.
