It's been a long, and I mean long, time since last we heard anything about director J.T. Petty's take on the cult underground favorite Faces of Death. As a matter of fact, it seems the last time was way back in 2009. Today an update has come.
We've all been waiting patiently to see just what mega-talented filmmaker J.T. Petty would be doing next, and finally the answer has come. Looks like things will soon be going bump in the night in the Far East!
So much for Platinum Dunes taking a break from the genre! Word of another new project from the team of Brad Fuller and Andrew Form has broken online, and the good news is that it's not a remake or a sequel.
I've often wondered how settlers of the American West would handle monsters, and please don't remind me of that Tremors sequel... That's why we are grateful J.T. Petty came along with his take on subterranean beasties, The Burrowers.
The Toronto International Film Festival is just around the corner, and with it will come one movie that I’ve been looking forward to for the last few years; J.T. Petty’s The Burrowers. Big monsters in the Old West? Yes please!
STYD reports that the MPAA has ruled on a rating for J.T. Petty's Western creature feature The Burrowers. I am happy to say that the pic has received the coveted "Restricted" rating! Now, the only issue is that Lionsgate still has not announced a release date or even the year in which we can see The Burrowers. What the hell?
