Exclusive: Jonny Weston Joins Beyond Skyline

With director Liam O’Donnell currently filming the feature Beyond Skyline (a sequel to the Strause brothers’ 2010 film Skyline), we’ve learned exclusively from a trusted source that actor Jonny Weston (Insurgent, Project Almanac) has joined the cast.
Currently shooting in Los Angeles, Beyond Skyline also features The Raid stars Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian, Drag Me to Hell’s Bojano Novakovic, Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s Callan Mulvey, and The Purge: Anarchy’s Frank Grillo, who will play “a tough-as-nails detective who embarks on a relentless pursuit to free his son from a nightmarish alien warship.” According to our contact, Weston will appear as Grillo’s son.
