We've been waiting for the latest chiller from the UK, Devil's Playground, for a while here in the States, and finally the flick hits home video this week from Vivendi. To celebrate its arrival, we have two new clips for you! Dig it!
Here at Dread Central we've been waiting for the zombie apocalypse to arrive for the full five years we've been kicking around. Hopefully it'll come before we're forced to get real jobs and become part of America's work force. Actually ... scratch that. America barely has a work force, and we're lucky to be able to do what we do for a living. In any event Z-day is at the very least on its way to DVD!
The third annual Grimm Up North Horror Festival, which takes place in Manchester, England, from October 6th to October 9th, has announced the first film on its 2011 roster, and it's Martin Kemp's directorial debut Stalker, starring Billy Murray, Jane March, and Linda Hayden.
Producer Jonathan Sothcott dropped us a line today with an update on Martin Kemp's Stalker along with a few exclusive stills featuring Jane March and ex-Hammer horror actress Linda Hayden. There's also a bit of news for those of you in the UK planning to attend Film4 Frightfest 2011.
Here at Dread Central we pride ourselves on working as fast and as efficiently as possible to bring you all of the coolest things out there in a manner that's as timely as possible. When there are hot babes and werewolves involved ... we work even quicker!
We've seen a lot out of the Strippers vs. Werewolves camp thus far, including bad one-sheets and good one-sheets. Now the first official promo still has crept its way online. Robert Englund stars in this British horror-comedy along with Adele Silva, Barbara Nedeljakova, Ali Bastian, Coralie Rose, Billy Murray, Alan Ford, Sarah Douglas and Nick Nevern.
It's been a long while since last we had anything to report on Exposé, a remake of the 1970's film of the same name, which is now known as Stalker. But the passage of time has been kind, and now we're sporting a trailer and some new eye candy! Martin Kemp's feature film debut is set to stalk cinemas across the UK from October 10th, ahead of its DVD release on October 17th.
It's good to see the promotional train for Strippers vs. Werewolves back on track after the last bit of truly wretched teaser art. While this one doesn't show any ass, it's light years better than everything else we've seen. From the Press Release:
Every movie needs a star, and when it comes to a film consisting of two very distinct kinds of creatures with long nails, can you think of a better celeb to tie everything together than Robert Englund? Read on for the details. From the Press Release
Some new teaser art for Strippers vs. Werewolves has come our way and boy does it ever tease. The only trouble? Given the coloring of the artwork it was at first hard to figure out what were looking at. Now however? We can't stop staring! Dig it! From the Press Release
We've been keeping you informed on the progress of British horror comedy Strippers vs. Werewolves, and a new addition to the cast brings good news and bad news for all red-blooded males out there. The good is that buxom UK glamour model Lucy Pinder has signed on; the bad is she's playing a bloodsucking vampire.
Some more casting news coming in for the latest tale of cannibalistic horrors out of the UK. Two actors who know a lot about otherworldly horrors have joined the fold, and we've got the 411 for you right here!
Hot chick, cannibals, blood, fighting, violence, and friggin' Beowulf himself! Do you really need much more to get you excited about seeing the newest cannibal flick out of the UK? Yeah, we don't either. From the Press Release
Here's a treat for you guys! A short film coming at you all the way from the UK that proves once and for all that karma can truly be a bitch!
Another star has signed on to the UK flick we're waiting for with bated breath, Strippers vs. Werewolves! An actress who can only serve to bring some class to the proceedings! From the Press Release
