An American Werewolf in London Remake in the Works
It was only a matter of time. Here's the deal, and we're just going to have to accept it: If a movie is even slightly good or has even the tiniest of cult followings, Hollywood is going to remake it. There's just no doubt of this anymore.

Carpenter & Hawkins Star in Red Sparrow's Vivid
Is it wrong that as soon as I hear the name Vivid, all I can think of is the adult DVD distributor of the same name? No? Good! Moving on ... Variety announced yesterday that UK production house Red Sparrow is launching its first film, the $1.2 million Vivid, which will be helmed by Reg Traviss.

Bob Burns' American Werewolf Restored!
Now this is the kind of news I just love reporting. Other than my overall adoration for all things horror, it's news like this that makes me happy to have the job I have, allowing me to share this kind of information with our community.

Sickness, Health and Fear Itself in June!
NBC's horror anthology Fear Itself kicks off in just a couple of days, and in all honesty I hope it does well for the sake of the horror genre. Without boobs and extreme violence to rely on, there's a good chance decent stories may actually be conjured up.

More Directors Added to Fear Itself Lineup
Horror. That’s what it’s all about. So why the hell would the people behind the upcoming anthology series Fear Itself decide that the guy who remade The Fog deserves another shot at scaring us? In my opinion he should be relegated to romantic comedies and movies about kids dancing their way up from the slums for the rest of his career.
