New High Quality Quarantine Trailer

AITH picked up the newest trailer for Quarantine and it raised some new questions. We know that everything is shot from a news cameraman's equipment, but the entire film looks pretty steady and in HD. Maybe all the complaints via Cloverfield-sickness made director John Dowdle opt for a less shaky film?

Carpenter Cornered in Quarantine

The American remake of REC, known as Quarantine, could go a long way if it stays as creepy as the original. Dowdle, John & Drew (Quarantine)

Interview by: Uncle Creepy Every year there’s at least one or two horror films made that pick up amazing word of mouth from the moment they’re seen and never slow down. This year one of those films the Spanish entry REC (review) and while most US horror freaks are still waiting to see it, its American remake, Quarantine, is on it’s way this October. Pretty amazing turnaround, actually, but that’s the nature of this business these days. To get to the bottom of why this film was being remade so quickly, Uncle Creepy got himself some time with its director John Dowdle and executive producer Drew Dowdle and commenced with brain-picking! The results can be heard below! Who knows, maybe this will convert all the haters out there and make them actually look forward to Quarantine. Stranger things have happened!
