Now this is what I’m talking about! I knew JJ Abrams new show, "Fringe", would be something cool, but I didn’t hope it’d be as cool as this trailer makes it look. Arrow in the Head got their diseased hands on it today and we’re sharing it with you (we’ll wear gloves, though). Check it out below!

More details have finally come forth for the new show created by JJ Abrams ("Lost", "Alias"), "Fringe". For the longest time all we've known about it is that it deals with a detective forced to team up with a genius who's been institutionalized for the last two decades.

In an interesting move both for network television and viewers in general, Fox announced today that they will be trying a new experiment with two of next season’s more promising shows; the JJ Abrams-creatred “Fringe” and Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse”. Namely, less commercials!

Though it’s not exactly news, since it was mentioned in the first story we did on the show, Variety included Fox’s “pickup” of JJ Abrams’ new show, “Fringe”, in an article today about recent network acquisitions. The show is about an FBI agent working with an institutionalized scientist when a rash of weird shit starts going down. In layman’s terms.

We're still not sure if the monster rampage flick known as Cloverfield (review) will be making a debut on Blu-ray this April 22nd, but we just found out that there will be something else emerging with the regular DVD.

If you're like me, or several other people who saw Cloverfield (review), then you've probably got some questions about the film's monster. What is it? Is it a baby? Were the parasites offspring? What was with the tiny arms on its underbelly? Why did it change size?

The audio on this video sucks, just want to get that out of the way. Whoever was asking J.J Abrams questions at the US-Ireland Alliance Party (?) forgot to make sure her mic was working, so you’ll not be able to hear much of what she’s asking.

Much like the movie, the figure based on the monster seen in Cloverfield (review) was met with mixed opinions (“Hasbro's Cloverfield Monster Figure Revealed” – February 2008). The toy just didn't quite look like what we saw in the film.

Color me curious about this one! Most of us were waiting for this figure if only to get a good look at the beast itself! I must admit when Hasbro announced they had the license, I was a bit worried. Would it be a true representation, or would it be dumbed down a bit and made to look cutesy?

It sure is strange in this day and age to hear about a major toy creator making the official toy for a horror/ monster movie as opposed to, say, your Sideshow or Gentle Giant. Apparently the makers of Cloverfield just wanted to make sure their figure gets into as many places as possible.

Three days to go until we find out if Cloverfield will live up to all the hype. Odd though that we haven't seen much in the way of mass marketing this week (aside from the creature spoilers I refuse to run ... as I want to keep the beast a secret). However, AOL/Moviefone did put up a video today that lets us get to know the character of Marlena a little more. There's no carnage or beasties, but it's something...

The first semi-clear look at the Cloverfield monster is finally online, and Daily Motion got it exclusively. Keep in mind, I said it’s semi clear, no big reveals here… but they’re right when they say “it’s alive, it’s huge!”. Check it out below! Cloverfield opens eveywhere on Friday, January 18th!

Wanna see what the Cloverfield monster did before it hit the shores of NYC? Sure you do! This kinda makes makes me wonder if this was reported to the U.S. at all and if so, if it was seen by the partygoers who are getting down when the Big Apple is attacked; you’d think it’d be cause for some concern, no?
