Kickstart to Publish Palmiotti and Gray's Splatterman

Kickstart Productions, the company behind the Sam Mendes-directed Preacher adaptation, has teamed up with Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray to publish their newest comic idea entitled Splatterman. This will be Kickstart’s second publishing endeavor with Palmiotti and just the first among many upcoming comic books that they will release under their Kickstart Comics Inc. banner over the next 18 months.

Jonah Hex: More Western Than Horror?

Ever since we first started covering the live action version of Jonah Hex, it's been a little unclear as to exactly how many genre elements had been written into the script. But now some clarification has come down courtesy of Jimmy Palmiotti, one of the co-writers of the original DC Comics series on which the film is based.

Such is the case with Dead Space: Downfall (review here), the animated prequel to the guaranteed to be hot selling survival horror video game Dead Space. Simply put, this flick is a no holds barred gore-a-thon! I knew I had to track down the folks behind this one ASAP to get the scoop! Within no time I wrangled up director Chuck Patton and screenwriters Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray. I have to say this was one of the most fun interviews I've done in a long time.
