I got the chance to see Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story (review) in the best possible environment: a film festival. The Boston Underground Film Festival, to be specific. It’s a great documentary about a truly great man, both in show business and in life, and hopefully you’ll all get to see it very soon as well!

One thing's for sure, before the Internet there was a guy in Hollywood who was his own personal marketing machine. His name? William Castle. Whether you know it or not, we all owe a great debt to this under-appreciated horror maestro. It was only a matter of time before someone made a flick about him, and filmmaker Jeffrey Schwarz has done a proper job honoring Castle by producing the incredible documentary Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story (review). Recently fellow Castle aficionado Uncle Creepy caught up with Jeff, and as you can imagine, the results were nothing short of entertaining!
