Screamfest to Premiere Malone's Parasomnia!

Just a few days after we posted an article that was the result of a recent chat I had with Jeffrey Combs (read it here), word has come down about the premiere for one of the films he mentions very much looking forward to seeing, William Malone’s Parasomnia.

Exclusive: Jeffrey Combs Talks Dark House, Parasomnia & More!

During the recent Monster Mania convention in Cherry Hill, NJ (full report here), I took some time out to sit down with Jeffrey Combs, one of the most beloved and hardest working genre actors in the scene.

Event Report: Monster Mania 11

Man, I really dig this show. Yeah, it takes me between six and nine hours to get there and back, which means I really need to start going down a day early, but it’s worth it to hang out at one of the best-run and most well-attended conventions on the East Coast.

Exclusive: Tons of Images from Dark House

Darin Scott, whom you may know as one of the minds behind Tales From The Hood, dropped us a line today with a batch of stills (some of which are exclusive) from his new film, Dark House, and I have to say ... this flick looks really, really badass!

New Parasomnia Trailer

House on Haunted Hill director Bill Malone just dropped a line to us to let us know that there’s a brand new trailer for his latest feature, Parasomnia, over on the film’s official site. And I have to say; it’s pretty damn cool.

More Abominable 2 Details!

I know you guys have been dying to get more information on Abominable 2, the proposed sequel to Ryan Schifrin’s debut Sasquatch pic, since it was announced a few weeks back. Since I can’t let you suffer the entire holiday weekend begging for info, the official Jeffrey Combs site got some info to ease your mind.

Combs Returns to Lovecraft for The Darkest Evil!

If there's any one actor whose name is most associated with films based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, it would have to be Jeffrey Combs.

Parasomnia Trailer Awakens

The first trailer for William (House on Haunted Hill, Feardotcom) Malone’s latest feature, Parasomnia found its way online via the folks over at Horror.com and it’s worth a look if you’re in the mood for something weird.

Combs on Parasomnia Status

All has been very quiet on the front of Bill Malone’s latest horror opus, Parasomnia, for a while now (“Tons of New Parasomnia Pics!” – August 2007); and according to star Jeffrey Combs, that’s exactly the way Malone wants it right now.

Malone Wants Your Help!

A few weeks back we made mention of the latest film on the way from House on Haunted Hill and Feardotcom helmer William Malone called Parasomnia. Enjoying the taste of freedom he experienced shooting his Masters of Horror episode, "The Fair-Haired Child," Malone took on the project without the involvement of any studio and raised the funds to make it himself.

Malone Catches Parasomnia

Been wondering just what the hell House on Haunted Hill director William Malone’s been up to since his excellent Masters of Horror entry last season? Well, a good place to start would be Horror Hound #4 (review), which has a great interview with the man, but for a quick fix I would direct you over to Fango.

Exclusive: Yuzna Talks Re-Animator Future!

You may remember a few weeks back (specifically here) we had a quick update from Jeffrey Combs on the status of House of Re-Animator, the fourth movie in the long-running franchise and the first in a proposed "final trilogy." Basically the news wasn’t great; they’re still waiting for the money issues to be resolved before anything can move forward as well as other typical Hollywood issu

Face Your Fear This Weekend!

Toronto. There's only one thing that can get me to make the trip to that fetid cesspool of drive-by shootings and yuppie scum, and that's the annual Rue Morgue Festival of Fear. For the last three years everyone's favorite horror mag has been putting on a Labor Day labor of love for Canadian horror fans as well as those Americans not afraid of making the snowmobile trip across the Border.

Scott, Darin (Dark House)

Interview by: Uncle Creepy Back when we ran our images from Darin Scott's upcoming haunted house feature Dark House (images here), I knew we were on to something special. Simply put, the flick looks really badass. So much so that we had to know more. As a result I went right to the source and sat down with Darin to talk all things haunted! Give a listen below!
