STRANGER THINGS Actor David Harbour Feels “Protective” and “Fatherly” About Millie Bobby Brown

Often art imitates life. Such is the example of the offscreen relationship between Stranger Things actor David Harbour when describing his relationship with costar Millie Bobby Brown. Harbour, who plays Hopper on the successful Netflix series recently appeared on the podcast, That Scene With Dan Patrick where he described his relationship with the Eleven actress as “protective” and “fatherly”.

“I knew her before any of the big fame hit,” says Harbour. Millie Bobby Brown was only 12 years old when Stranger Things debuted on Netflix back in 2016. Now at 17, Brown has appeared in several notable roles including Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla Vs. Kong, and will reprise her role Enola Holmes opposite Henry Caville in the sequel to the 2020 film. Brown will also star in the upcoming films Damsel, The Electric State, as well as the Netflix thriller The Girls I’ve Been.
“I have a real, like, worry,” Harbour said, “I worry about her and the fame and all that she has to struggle with. And I’ve just always felt this kind of deep fatherly affection for her.” Harbour and Brown will reprise their beloved roles in the upcoming Stranger Things 4. Netflix says that the fourth season of their popular series will debut on the streaming giant “soon”.
