Want to see Matthew Lillard and Jamie Kennedy returning to the Scream franchise as Stu Macher and Randy Meeks? Of course, you do. Well, then today you’re in luck as we have a killer fan “concept” trailer for Scream 5 which features just that.

The trailer comes from YouTuber Wilson Cleveland. The rundown: Scream 5 trailer concept imagining Matthew Lillard and Jamie Kennedy returning to the Scream movie franchise as Stu Macher and Randy Meeks in the 2022 horror movie reboot starring Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Marley Shelton.
Even thought I know it (probably) won’t, I hope this actually happens in the new flick!
Radio Silence’s Scream 5 is now officially called Scream. Neve Campbell returns with franchise favorites like Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Marley Shelton. Jack Quaid joins them with Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sonia Ammar, Mikey Madison, and Jenna Ortega.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) direct from a script by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and Guy Busick (Castle Rock). Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella exec produce while Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, and William Sherak produce.
Wes Craven re-invented and revitalized the slasher-horror genre with the original Scream. It managed to be funny, clever, and scary. It followed a fright-masked knife maniac stalks, high-school students, in middle-class suburbia. Craven was happy to provide both tension and self-parody as the body count mounts.
Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have confirmed the new movie is a direct sequel to Craven’s classic, not a reboot. Scream hits January 14, 2022.
