THE WARRIORS’ James Remar Comes Out to Play in the Latest Episode of COLLECTION COMPLETE

Unearthed by the docu-series Collection Complete (which takes an in-depth look into the lives of artists and the collections that fuel their work, as presented by Gemr, an app for collectors worldwide), the show’s Season 3 premiere (embedded at the top of the article) takes a look at the challenges of collecting and authenticating film props with returning guest and collector Sean Clark. What’s more, Clark’s joined by actor James Remar, who presents him his own screen-used vest from director Walter Hill’s film The Warriors!

A deep dive into his fascination with the 1979 cult classic, the episode focuses on Clark’s storied journey to obtain a screen-used vest from the seminal production, which first began with Clark being sold an expensive fake from a trusted acquaintance to later being happily bestowed Remar’s own screen-used vest and belt, which his character Ajax wore in the film.
The series’ 20th episode (future installments are set to showcase other items in Clark’s collection, including a screen-used Hellraiser box, rare KISS items and The Resonator prop from 1986’s From Beyond), past episodes of Collection Complete have ventured into the personal collections of filmmakers Mike Mendez of Tales of Halloween fame and designer, artist and pinup Micheline Pitt, among others.
What’s more, those who create a free account at Gemr.com’s Movie & TV Memorabilia Club will have a chance to win the ‘Warriors, Come Out to Play!’ Giveaway, which features one The Warriors deluxe double LP on 180 gram “Boppers” purple vinyl of the film’s original soundtrack and score from Waxwork Records, and one Ultimate Director’s Cut Blu-ray release of The Warriors! (This giveaway ends on August 26th, 2019).
