Here at Dread Central we love anthologies, and this bit of news that just came across the wire sounds like we are in for the anthology to end all anthologies as Drafthouse Films, Timpson Films, and Magnet Releasing are teaming to produce The ABCs of Death, a 26-chapter film that 25 established horror directors -- plus a contest winner -- will direct.

It's been a long time coming, but finally Jake West's demonic bitch fest Doghouse (review here) is making its way to US shores and we have the trailer for you courtesy of IFC Midnight!

Coming off the really fun Doghouse, we couldn't wait to see what director Jake West had up his sleeve for his next feature. Given the log line for his latest flick The Scribbler, which reads, "You're only using a small portion of your brain. Ever wondered what the rest of it is up to?", it looks like we could be in for a real headsy treat!

Updates regarding Jake West's Doghouse have been coming in fast and furious lately with its new quad poster and the final trailer. But now comes the cherry on the top: the full first ten minutes of the film.

Jake West's 2005 film Evil Aliens (review here) is a true favorite around the Dread Central epicenter. In fact, we keep it lovingly on display between our jewel-encrusted busts of Little Richard and our titanium-plated firemen poles. I expect we'll be doing the same once his new film Doghouse makes it Stateside, but for now we'll just hang up the UK's sweet new quad poster!
