The Asylum’s Jack the Giant Killer likely won’t prompt legal action from Bryan Singer’s similarly titled blockbuster since it appears to be set in the early 20th century, the giants are dinosaur-like monsters, and I’m unaware of any version of “Jack & the Beanstalk” that includes a giant robot.

Well now. This sucks. After a truly stellar trailer that's had us excited since it debuted, Warner Brothers has announced that the new film from Legendary Pictures and director Bryan Singer, Jack the Giant Killer, has been bumped from its June 15th release date to March 22, 2013.
You know how sometimes you hear about a project and then have zero interest until you come across it again later? Yeah, that's the case with us and Bryan Singer's upcoming movie, Jack the Giant Killer, which, judging from the trailer alone, is not your grandfather's Jack and the Beanstalk tale.
