Blackburn, Olly (Donkey Punch)
It’s never easy making your first movie, or so I’ve been told. But imagine if you decide to make your first movie in an unpredictable environment, in closed quarters, and full of sex and violence. A daunting task, for sure, but one director Olly Blackburn was more than willing to take head on.
The result is Donkey Punch, which Magnolia is releasing in theaters today as part of their Six Shooter Film series. I had the chance to chat with Olly about the movie (twice, but that’s a story for another time) and found out just what went into its creation.
