Bartlett, Michael (The Zombie Diaries)

Every now and again we get an awesome reason to take more than the usual amount of pride in what we do. A while ago co-directors Michael Bartlett and Kevin Gates contacted us about their film The Zombie Diaries, a movie that began production well before Romero's Diary of the Dead. They even cut an exclusive trailer just for us.

Upon putting up their trailer right here on Dread, Stateside offers for distribution began rolling in. Make no mistake, though, this movie would have been picked up regardless, but to have a chance to help out is pretty amazing.

Dimension Extreme has just unleashed the dead's other diary, The Zombie Diaries (review here), and to celebrate its release, I sat down with Michael Bartlett to talk about the flick and the long road to get here.
