You may recall last week it was revealed that Jeff Buhler, who found his way into our genre by penning the script for Midnight Meat Train currently being directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, is moving up the Hollywood ladder rather rapidly by jumping right into directing.

Interview by: Uncle Creepy If you haven’t gone out and picked up Jeff Buhler’s Insanitarium (DVD review), his directorial debut, you just might be missing one of the goriest, most fun and insane movies of the year. Never taking itself too seriously, Insanitarium tells of a loving brother who gets himself committed to an insane asylum in order to save his sister, already on the inside. The evil he finds is far worse than he ever expected. In similar fashion, Uncle Creepy committed himself to the inside in order to chat up Buhler, who seemed in high spirits despite, or perhaps because of, his tight white coat and padded room.
