Finally the moment has come! The trailer debut for Jason Eisener's batshit insane new film Hobo with a Shotgun is finally here and it's every single twisted thing we could have hoped for! Dig it! Not sure what in the world this flick is? Way back in 2007 Jason Eisner created a faux trailer called Hobo With a Shotgun for the Grindhouse trailer competition. It went over big (and how could it not with a title like that?), and as a result a feature is on the way with none other than Rutger Hauer as the gun-toting street urchin.

Oh, Japan, is there anything you cannot make absolutely bizzaro? Something as simple as a commercial advertising Dole bananas and Japan finds a way to turn it into surreal chaos about a banana horned freak snorting bananas from his nostrils into the lap of an overjoyed woman before floating away by flapping bananas. This Dole banana commercial from Japan packs more frenetic weirdness into sixteen short seconds than an entire Werner Herzog movie. Whether or not it'll make you want to eat a banana remains to be seen. Enjoy the holiday weekend and try not to slip on any peels!

Just a tiny tidbit of news surrounding the upcoming, highly anticipated TV show called "The Walking Dead" and whether or not you can expect that oft-rumored second season to roll before cameras in early 2011. Aint It Cool News tells us that AMC has yet to greenlight a second season of the zombie apocalypse series. “Shooting in February? As tired as I am right now getting season one through post, I'd rather shoot myself,” showrunner Frank Darabont told AICN.

Much like the Star Wars trilogy "special editions", does anybody actually prefer The Exorcist "The Version You've Never Seen" to the theatrical cut? William Friedkin thinks so as it's become the definitive edition of the film in his mind. And if you've never seen it, you can catch it on the big screen for one night only!
