Conan Stevens Leads the Dead Squad

Standing at over two meters tall, Conan Stevens is certainly a force to be reckoned with. The giant actor is known for his roles as the titular monster in Man-Thing, Bolg in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and as the brutish warrior Gregor Clegane, AKA The Mountain, in the first season of “Game of Thrones”. He’ll next be be appearing in the ’80s throwback Dead Squad (Facebook), which begins filming next month in Bali, Indonesia.
Dead Squad will be set in a mysterious tropical paradise that would be an ideal vacation spot, if it wasn’t filled with bloodthirsty monsters, one of which will likely be played by Stevens. It also stars Jonathan Looper, Elizabeth Morse and Stephen Dixon, and will be directed by Dominik Hauser.
Synopsis:
‘Dead Squad’ is an exciting throwback to schlock horror films of the early 80s, involving a group of young people on holiday in a tropical paradise who become lost in the jungle while on a river rafting trip and happen upon ancient ruins filled with unimaginable snarky horrors.
